Overview of the Union University Accelerated Nursing Program

There are a number of prerequisite courses students must take before they are eligible to participate in the 15-month Union University accelerated nursing program. The courses for those who have already obtained a bachelor’s degree include:

  • Anatomy and Physiology I
  • Anatomy and Physiology II
  • General Psychology

For those who want to enroll in the Union University accelerated nursing program but do not have a bachelor’s degree, they must meet general education requirements and have an ACT score of 20 or higher. There are a number of other courses that both types of prospective students must have completed or be in the process of completing before signing up for the program.

Additional requirements outside of courses for the Union University accelerated nursing program including CPR certification from the American Heart Association, an immunization record and physical exam form, a clean drug test as well as a clean criminal background check.
